This week in Independent Study and Mentorship I have been focusing mainly on getting things ready for Final Presentation in the future and preparing my invitations and guest list. It is honestly kind of hard to believe that all of this is coming so soon, but I know it will sneak up on me before I know it. This year has flown by, and although part of me is ready for college and Baylor and the end of high school, another large part of me is saddened that the many years I have spent in Frisco is coming to an end. I have gained so many friendships here that I value so dearly, and I know that many of these friendships will be things that I hold dear will carry with me into my college education and the rest of my life. Beyond that, I know that classes like Independent Study and Mentorship have really prepared me for the future and have set me apart in preparedness. I am much more confident in so many skills necessary for the real world, like handshakes and speeches, because of this class. I am excited for graduation and college, and I know that there will be so many great things for me at Baylor.
