Weekly Report (1/8-1/15)

The past week is Independent Study and Mentorship has been spent getting ready for the ISM Research Showcase on January 17th. My January is crazy, as I have been getting ready for the showcase, finishing my original work, as well as getting the Stars ready for competition. It is reassuring, however, to have my college decision and my near future planned out. In this stressful time, I see such chaos and anxiety in all of my friends and the waiting they are all undergoing. I am so thankful that the decision has been made and that I am excited about my future. I know that Baylor will be a great fit for me, and although it wasn't necessarily what I wanted, I know that it will be a fantastic four years and that the overarching plan for my life is better than mine. I am confident in the skills I have and I know that no matter what, I will find a way to make the most of any situation I find myself in. I know that ISM has given me the confidence in myself and the skill set to take on the world, and although it may be stressful at times, I cannot wait to see what the next four years will bring.
