Weekly Report (4/10-4/17)

I am excited to finally get a real start on my final product. On Friday, I had planned to go down to U.T. Southwestern to meet with Dr. Mansour, however unfortunately we had to cancel. However, Dr. Mansour did send me the database with all of the necessary patient information to begin working and analyzing the data for my final product. I am incredibly excited about this database, and although a lot of it is in medical terminology that I don't necessarily understand, it only means that I have to devote a little more research and time to this final product. With only three weeks until the due date, and AP testing in between, it is incredibly important for me to stay on top of this product. I am ready to meet this head on and complete any of the necessary work and dedicate all of the time that I can to this project. The opportunity to analyze real patient data is an incredibly opportunity, and I am excited to see what kind of information I can gather from this database. I feel that this final product has the potential to impact the lives of patients and the treatment they receive post and pre-operatively in a positive way.
