This past week has been a whirlwind of various projects, deadlines, and tryouts. For Stars, the past week was team tryouts, and this upcoming week is officer tryouts. Obviously, there is a lot of pressure surrounding officer tryouts, and as Lieutenant Captain of the 2016-2017 line, the pressure has been intensified to insurmountable levels. However, I am also experiencing quite a heavy load between my four AP classes and ISM as everything is kicked into high gear. With ISM, we have final products due soon, and as I have been completing my research to supplement the actual data analysis, the necessity to push back my meeting with Dr. Mansour has been an area of both concern and stress. I have, however, realized that there is nothing I can do about this particular matter, and therefore I am working on taking unnecessary stress off of myself. I am confident that, working in tandem with Dr. Mansour, I will be able to finish this final product while also devoting the proper amount of time to ensure quality. As final product ramps up, so does AP classes. With fewer than 50 days until my first exam, I have to study incredibly hard to ensure satisfactory grades on each test, as Northwestern only takes 4's and 5's for credit.
