This week was a slower week in ISM as I didn't have any mentor visits or major works to complete, however it was still a valuable week. I began my Parkland training in hopes that I can finish it by the end of the week, as both myself and my mentor would like my first trip into the operating room to be next Thursday. I truly cannot state how excited I am for this opportunity, because I know how incredibly valuable this experience is going to be and how much I will be able to learn just from a few observations. In other regards, the Frisco Stars had our first dance contest this weekend, which signifies the beginning of a crazy few months for me. In the upcoming month alone, I have two more contests, as well as team tryouts, officer tryouts, and the beginning of spring show practices. I know how incredibly important it is for me to be able to manage my time wisely in the next couple of months, because if I don't it will be incredibly difficult for me to stay on top of my work and ISM responsibilities. Although I manage my time fairly well, there are a few adjustments that need to be made for the rest of the year.
